Ashore Supports All of Your Proofs, No Matter the File Type

Creative projects come in many different shapes and sizes. Illustrations, photos, audio tracks, podcasts, brochures, product videos, landing pages, documents and PDFs, and even live websites need to be reviewed and approved. Whether you only work with images and PDFs or a wide range of file types, Ashore’s powerful platform allows approvers to intuitively give feedback on any file type. Here’s how:

Images & PDFs

On Ashore, images and PDFs are some of the most common file types sent during the proofing process by our users. To proof an image or PDF, simply upload your files into Ashore and select your proof options. For PDFs, our content review software automatically rasterizes proofs to ensure all layers are displayed correctly during the proofing process. On Ashore, you’ll never need to worry that your proofs aren’t properly rendering for approvers again.

Supported image file types include:

  • PDF
  • JPG
  • GIF
  • PNG
  • Webp
  • Bmp
  • Tiff
  • Giff
  • SVG
  • Jpeg

Live Websites

Ashore allows creatives to easily share live websites with their clients for review and approval. You simply embed the tracking code script onto the website you’d like to proof, and copy and paste the site URL into Ashore. Once the proof has been created, approvers will be able to navigate a website as they normally would and make contextual comments by toggling commenting on and off.

Approvers will be able to toggle between different views of a website, allowing them to see and navigate it as it would appear on different screen sizes, including:

  • X-Small (<576px)
  • Small Website (≥576px)
  • Medium Website (≥768px)
  • Large Website (≥992px)
  • Extra Large Website (≥1200px)
  • Extra Extra Large Website (≥1400px)

HTML & Web Screenshots

If you regularly proof HTML files such as email campaigns or landing pages, you need a solution that will allow you to quickly and conveniently share HTML files for review and approval. In Ashore, easily upload your HTML or rich text files, and select your proof options.

Supported file types include:

  • HTML
  • RichText
  • Rtf

Upon sharing an HTML proof, approvers will be able to see how your email campaigns and webpages will appear at different pixel widths, including:

  • X-Small (<576px)
  • Small Website (≥576px)
  • Medium Website (≥768px)
  • Large Website (≥992px)
  • Extra Large Website (≥1200px)
  • Extra Extra Large Website (≥1400px)

If you need to proof a live webpage, Ashore streamlines this process, as well. All you need to do is paste the URL into Ashore, and our content review software takes screenshots at the aforementioned pixel widths. Approvers will be able to see how the same page would display on different screens, from mobile to a large desktop.

Videos

For anyone who’s ever been responsible for creating and sharing videos for a client, we wanted to make sure Ashore had you covered. You’re able to upload and share a video proof just like you would any other file in Ashore. When approvers are reviewing it, they’ll be able to append their comments to a specific point on the page as well as a timestamp in the video. When it’s time to view their comments, selecting one in the sidebar automatically takes you to the correct time in the video. Now, feedback on videos will always be in context.

Supported file types include:

  • MP4
  • Ogg
  • Webm
  • MOV

Audio

Whether you’re reviewing podcasts, music tracks, or another audio-based creative endeavor, Ashore helps to make reviewing audio files a seamless experience. Once you’ve uploaded and shared your audio proofs with your approvers, they’ll be able to listen and make comments. Any comments made will be tied to a specific timestamp, so you’ll always have clarity regarding what’s being discussed.

Supported file types include:

  • Wav
  • Ogg
  • Mpeg
  • Mp3
