Online Proofing Software Application Ashore Launches in Public Beta

May 15, 2017 (AUSTIN, TEXAS) – Ashore, the online proofing software for creatives, on Monday announced it has launched in public beta following an extensive development and validation process that has already led dozens of organizations to adopt the free online proofing and approval tool.

Built for creative agencies, freelancers and design teams, Ashore is a design approval system that automates the way clients receive, review and approve digital files. Ashore gives creatives the ability to send and receive feedback on any file type — from web links and videos to PDFs and spreadsheets — on their own branded dashboard.

Ashore also automates the review and approval process. Files can be sent through client workflows that determine a pre-set order of approvers. A file is sent to the first contact in a workflow, and when that first contact approves it, it is automatically sent to the next contact. If a contact forgets to review a file he or she is automatically reminded by email. On the back end of Ashore, a file timeline logs every comment and status change, giving teams full visibility into the status of a project.

Ashore was created by Brandcave, a successful UX design agency in the Austin, Texas, area whose goal is to create meaningful experiences that drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Brandcave Founder Cody Miles said he spent six months validating the concept, visiting with executives at some of the biggest agencies in Austin. Ashore was launched with 20 beta testing companies, Miles said, and on most days two new companies sign up.

“If you’re a creative, you know how challenging it can be to work with clients and customers,” Miles said. “Sometimes, their feedback is confusing. Other times, it’s hard to get feedback at all. But, most times, it’s not just one person who has to approve your work. It’s more like two, three – or if you’re lucky, four or more. Ashore improves the way creatives work with customers by introducing a complete, white-labeled platform that improves creative collaboration and workflow automation.”

Miles added, “Our design approval system is not only packed with exactly the right features that creatives need in managing their client relationships, it’s priced more competitively than those of anyone attempting to do the same,” Miles said.

He said, “Clients will not only love using Ashore because it’s simple to leave feedback, but because they won’t have to sign up for anything. Their feedback is automatically captured and sent back to the creative. Ashore keeps a record of every status change in a file timeline – from new versions to client feedback – so the creative is never lost or has to thumb through emails. When clients leave comments on your work, new tasks can be automatically created in your favorite project management platform.”

Ashore expects to integrate soon with Asana, Dropbox and Google Drive, Miles said.
