Ashore App Announces the Release of Live Web Proofing

October 18, 2021 | Product News

October 18, 2021 | Georgetown, TX — Ashore App is thrilled to announce the release of a groundbreaking new feature: Live Web Proofing. With this new feature, approvers will be able to review and comment on live websites at various screen sizes. This new capability streamlines website development and review by enabling approvers to comment on live webpages, taking the guesswork out of feedback.

To utilize Live Web Proofing, Ashore users simply embed the tracking code script onto the website they wish to review, and copy and paste the site URL into Ashore. If the tracking script is not found, don’t worry — Ashore will let you know and provide instructions for properly embedding it. Once the proof has been created, approvers will be able to navigate a website as they normally would and make contextual comments by toggling commenting on and off.

Approvers will also have the ability to view a website at different pixel widths, allowing them to review the same webpage as it would display on different screens, including:

  • X-Small (<576)
  • Small Website (≥576px)
  • Medium Website (≥768px)
  • Large Website (≥992px)
  • Extra Large Website (≥1200px)
  • Extra Extra Large Website (≥1400px)

Any comments made will be tied to a specific point on the page as well as the selected screen width.

“Creatives are using a plethora of disparate tools to get feedback on various file types,” explains Cody Miles, Founder and CEO of Ashore. “Creatives no longer need to purchase additional software to enable live web proofing, we support it already.”

By providing Ashore users with live web proofing capabilities, Ashore accelerates one of the most time-consuming stages of the web development process: review and approval. Now, approvers can experience a live, working website in which they can navigate to different pages and view dynamic page elements as they’re intended to be seen. When they have feedback to offer, they simply click anywhere on the page to leave their comment. It’s that simple.

“Today, Ashore is taking one large step toward completing our mission of making collaboration accessible to everyone,” Miles says. “Ashore is now the easiest tool on the market for receiving feedback on live websites.”

Now, web developers, UX designers, marketers and clients will be able to brainstorm and iterate together in one central location. As a project evolves, everybody has access to a complete proofing history of assets, versions, feedback and more. If you’re ready to take the plunge, sign up for free today to enjoy all of Ashore’s proofing capabilities.
